Upgraded Packaging is Here!

We at Mosaic are proud to bring delicious, healthy food to your doorstep. And whether it’s sourcing the freshest, best-for-you ingredients or crafting chef-cooked recipes, we know you deserve reliable, consistent service from start to finish. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce we’ve made some big changes to your shipments and implemented packaging upgrades to ensure every one of your orders is delivered in perfect condition, every time.

New Liner

Our deliveries all ship with an insulating box liner that keeps your food cool. To date, our liner has been made of either shredded paper or PET plastic — which, while curbside recyclable, are less stiff and don't protect your food as well in transit. Today, we're excited to announce that we've upgraded to a stiff paper-based liner that is more effective at insulating and will keep your food cooler in transit. Even better: it's made from a combination of paper and cornstarch, which means that it's fully curbside recyclable with papers and won't go into a landfill when disposed.

Thicker Boxes

In addition to the new liner, we've upgraded to a box that’s 25% thicker — so it’s protected from weather conditions like rain, heat, and snow, and contains extra padding to prevent any dents or crushing. As always, our box remains 100% curbside recyclable.

We’ll continue to vary the amount of dry ice in each box depending on how far it’s traveling: more for longer shipments, and less for shorter trips to reduce waste. Unlike gel packs, dry ice sublimates in transit, leaving just a small plastic sleeve to be recycled when your delivery arrives. That means you can say goodbye to stacks of frozen gel packs taking up space in your freezer!
