This week we're taking a peek inside the cup of the most refreshing, crisp and fresh thing on our menu, Yuzu Greens Smoothie.
We’ve put a sweet and satisfying spin on a balanced green juice taste by adding pineapple and bananas with a spritz of yuzu for that tart, refreshing and clean finish.
Here's what's inside, and why we love it:
Pineapple: This bright and tropical fruit is low in calories but sky high in vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants. The stand out vitamin in this delicious fruit? Vitamin C- an essential for immune health and iron absorption. Paired with the group of digestive enzymes called bromelain present, this is fruit is the ingredient that keeps on giving.
Kale: A vibrant and leafy green that's actually part of the cabbage family is among one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet. Even though cruciferous, kale has incredible antioxidants like quercetin and kaempferol that are powerful heart-protective, blood pressure-lowering, anti-viral, the list goes on!
Yuzu Juice: The yuzu is a little fruit with BIG benefits. It's not only aromatic but offers the full gamete of inflammation reducing benefits alongside powerful plant compounds like carotenoids, flavonoids and limonoids that act as antioxidants in the body to really stack up the reasons to love it.
